Jelly Roll Removes Wife Bunnie Xo’s Name from His Instagram Bio After Filing for Divorce

The country star filed for divorce from Bunnie on May 18 after almost 10 years of marriage, according to documents obtained and court records viewed by PEOPLE

Jelly Roll made a significant change to his Instagram bio.

The country star, 41, filed for divorce from his wife, Bunnie Xo, in Williamson County, Tenn. on May 18 after almost 10 years of marriage, according to documents obtained and court records viewed by PEOPLE.

After news of the filing broke earlier this week, Jelly removed Bunnie’s name from his bio on Instagram. TMZ was first to report the change.

The “Need a Favor” singer’s Instagram bio used to feature the title “Music Man,” plus a lock and key emoji as well as Bunnie’s username, @xomgitsbunnie. Now, it simply reads, “Music Man.”

Jelly’s filing listed the couple’s separation date as May 9 and cited irreconcilable differences as the grounds for divorce.

On Tuesday, June 16, the Grammy winner’s 18-year-old daughter Bailee Ann (born from a past relationship) posted a TikTok video addressing her father’s divorce filing. “Oh & one more thing I am disgusted at how invested everyone is in a very clearly private family matter,” she wrote over a selfie. “It’s fkn crazy.”

“Go on somewhere yall,” Bailee continued. “Worry bout your house- not mine. I’m not speaking on it – yet.”

Jelly and Bunnie’s relationship began when they met at one of his concerts at Las Vegas Country Saloon in 2015. He proposed to her live on stage in Sin City the following year, and the pair secretly tied the knot in a courthouse ceremony later the same night.

The “Save Me” musician is also father to son Noah, 9, from another past relationship.

In recent months, Jelly and Bunnie have spoken at length about their desire to have a child and struggles with IVF, and she wrote in her Stripped Down: Unfiltered and Unapologetic memoir that they’d found a surrogate and hoped to welcome twins.

“I think we’re just ready for a piece of us,” Bunnie told PEOPLE in January. “It has not been easy, but I know that God has a plan and he’s going to make it work. I really do. I have no doubt in my mind.”
