Seeing his wife get water thrown in her face by her mother, the husband froze for a few seconds before responding with a shocking action.

The other day, I took some medicine my mother-in-law gave me, and I had stomachaches for several days. Because of that, I stopped taking any medicine she brought home.

My husband is an only child. Therefore, after we got married, we had to live with his parents. Initially, I thought living  with my mother-in-law  was perfectly normal. That is, until we lived under the same roof. Speaking of my mother-in-law, she’s a difficult person and places great importance on having an heir in the family.

From the moment I became a daughter-in-law, my mother-in-law declared that whether we had two or three children, it was absolutely essential to have a grandson to carry on the family name. At first, I thought that since I was healthy and had learned some advice from online sources, I would have a son. Little did I know that having children was not so simple.

During my first pregnancy, I lacked experience and continued wearing high heels. Unfortunately, I slipped and fell, losing the baby. Knowing it was an accident, my husband didn’t blame me. Only my mother-in-law constantly criticized me.

I lost my baby two months ago, and my mother-in-law is already pressuring me to try again. Not only that, she’s brought me a lot of unproven supplements and made me take them. The other day, I took one of her supplements and had terrible stomach aches for days. Because of that, I haven’t taken any of her supplements since.

Seeing that I refused to take my medication and showed no intention of having more children, my mother-in-law constantly nagged me. Yesterday afternoon, unable to bear it any longer, I retorted. With a basin of water in her hand, she threw it in my face and chased me out of the house.

Just then, my husband pulled me away. He declared, “Since Mom has done this, we’re leaving.” Ignoring his mother’s cries, he sped off. What surprised me was that he actually intended to move out. These past few days, my mother-in-law has been trying to appease me. She even suggested I convince my husband to give up the idea of moving out. I’m in a difficult situation; can anyone give me some advice?
