Lainey Wilson Flaunts Stunning 7-Carat Engagement Ring in Bold New Look

“I’ll be taking your order tonight, cause I’m serving,” she bragged about the fierce style.

Lainey Wilson and her new husband, NFL star Devlin “Duck” Hodges, just stepped out for their first appearance since tying the knot last week. Not only did the country music star use the opportunity to show off her very impressive engagement ring, she also wore a look that broke from her sartorial tradition of avoiding red carpet dresses.

Posing together at the 61st Academy of Country Music Awards, the newlyweds hugged and stood arm-in-arm. Wilson wore a burnt orange-red strapless gown with a pleated bodice that gave way to a completely shredded floor-skimming fringe skirt. Aside from a pair of dramatic drop earrings, her ring stack was the main jewelry event. The giant cluster ring is made up of multiple diamonds and is reportedly around seven carats.

As for Hodges, he wore a black suit with a white shirt, along with a western-coded brown belt and a teal bolo tie.

Wilson isn’t exactly known for rocking a dress, with Vogue reporting that she has “almost never worn.” In fact, her wedding dress was one of the first she’s worn in a long time. Styled by Alexandra Mandelkorn, her gown featured Japanese cherry blossoms on the neckline and bodice. “The cherry blossom represents living in the moment, and that’s exactly what we did,” Lainey told the outlet of the stunning bridal look.

She added, “Feeling royal and confident in my dream dress and veil, made by the incredible Oscar de la Renta team. First time wearing a dress and I caught the perfect breeze to show it off! Shout out to my amazing stylist Ali Mandelkorn for bringing this vision to life with Oscar de la Renta.”

Based on her latest look, Wilson’s wedding has made her a little more open to a skirt moment. It seems as though she loved the style on herself, too. As she joked on Instagram alongside a photo of the orange dress, “hey yall. I’m Lainey. I’ll be taking your order tonight, cause I’m serving.”
