Keith Urban Feels Lost as Daughter’s Fight Over Nicole Kidman Divorce
It’s been months since Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman finalized their divorce, and the Oscar-winning actress has been dominating red carpets left and right in revenge-style gowns. But as for the country music star, he’s seemingly not handling the single life all that well.
Urban made his first post-divorce public appearance at the 61st Academy of Country Music Awards in Las Vegas on Sunday, May 17, and an insider told Woman’s Day that it was “pretty obvious Keith was anxious about flying solo.”
“He knew he was going to be facing off the press for the first time since the divorce and he didn’t look comfortable at all,” they added. “His smile didn’t meet his eyes this time – it’s clear he was a little lost without his former ‘other half’.”

Still, despite reportedly struggling with being alone, the four-time Grammy winner is starting to work on-and treat-himself. The insider claimed that Urban’s leaning heavily into retail therapy, having “just dropped a small fortune.”
“Keith has always been a huge metro-sexual,” the source continued. “He loves getting pampered at the spa, getting massages, getting his hair highlighted, his nails done, and now at this stage in life he’s also very big into treatments to tighten his skin.”
Aside from discovering who he is without Kidman, Urban is reportedly dealing with more private family struggles. According to a June 2 report from Woman’s Day, their daughters, Sunday Rose and Faith Margaret, are fighting over the divorce.
A separate source told the outlet that Faith was “furious” with Sunday for unfollowing (and later refollowing) Urban on Instagram.
“Faith was always a bit of a daddy’s girl and she’s missing him being in her world 24/7,” the source explained. “She doesn’t like all this conflict and feeling like she has to take sides. She was furious that Sunday would take such a public step.”
Urban and Kidman’s split has left Faith devastated and feeling stuck in the middle, per the source. “Poor Faith is confused by how two people can go from being loving and supportive for years to where things are now,” they said. “She knows her mum needs her right now, but she’s also worried about her dad, who doesn’t have the same support network around him Nicole does.”
Sunday’s brutal snub occurred in late April 2026, just days before she walked the Met Gala red carpet with Kidman.
“Sunday knew exactly what she was doing,” a source told Hollywood gossip columnist Rob Shuter of the Instagram drama. “It was a pointed move, and Keith got the message loud and clear.”
The situation “hurt” Urban, with another insider telling Shuter’s Naughty But Nice that he “knows this wasn’t just about Instagram. It was personal.”
Sunday previously hinted at her strained relationship with Urban. In a March 2026 interview with Elle Australia, she gushed about Kidman but didn’t utter one word about Urban. “My mum is someone who has always been so creative and my biggest inspiration in life,” she told the magazine. “She’s a key part of everything I do.”
A source later told New Idea that Sunday’s interview left Urban feeling “numb” and “like he doesn’t exist.”
