“Is it time?”: Olivia Wilde breaks her silence about her past relationship with Harry Styles – “It’s all because…of age.”
OLIVIA Wilde has broken her silence on her previous romance with Harry Styles and has admitted that “it really upset people”.
The pair first began dating in 2021 after connecting on the sets of psychological thriller film ‘Don’t Worry Darling’, which Olivia directed and Harry starred in.

The two were faced with plenty of scrutiny and backlash for their age-gap romance, with Olivia being 36 and Harry being 26 when they began dating.
They split towards the end of 2022 after a nearly two year relationship.
Now she’s opened up about the romance while appearing on the Call Her Daddy podcast with host Alex Cooper.
Alex asked: “What do you think was so triggering to people seeing you dating a man where they deemed you to be in a position of power and the older woman.

“What was it there that you think was upsetting to people?”
Olivia, 42, responded: “Oh man. I don’t know, it really did upset people though.
“It was crazy. I don’t know how much I understand it yet, that’s one of the factors I never really felt like I understood.
“I know it’s something that’s existed in our society, I understand it had very little to do with me.
“It’s something that we’ve done to women for a long time, why is it? People were f*****g pissed.
“It also had a lot to do with the personal relationship people had with him which is a burden that is very weighty and not something I envy.

“He carries it with grace, I think that’s an enormous responsibility that all of those stars have to carry and it’s f*****g impossible.
“It’s wild cos we had the loveliest relationship, so so sweet and so beautiful and really actually domestic and kind and lovely,” she admitted.
“We existed in this little bubble and the judgement never really got into that bubble which is a miracle and a testament to us making that happen.
“I think that people were mad, it’s almost like the happiness made them mad.”
Olivia and Harry, 32, made their public debut at his manager’s wedding in 2021, shortly after her separation from her long-time partner Jason Sudeikis.
She became a permanent fixture at Harry’s Love On Tour concerts, often seen in the crowd and dancing away.
They eventually broke up in November 2022, with reports stating that their conflicting priorities was a main factor for the split.
He had a demanding international tour schedule and she was trying to focus on juggling her work and children.
She and her ex Jason share two children together, son Otis, 12, and nine-year-old daughter Josephine.
Olivia has moved on with British art dealer Caspar Jopling and the pair made it Instagram official in January.
Meanwhile, Harry got engaged to actress Zoe Kravitz in April.
The couple are yet to confirm the news themselves but she was spotted wearing a huge engagement ring on her finger.
