Fearing continued scrutiny, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. abandoned Kid Rock and switched to partnering with Arnold Schwarzenegger in the training room.
Arnold Schwarzenegger Seemingly Replaces Kid Rock as Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s Workout Partner
Is Arnold Schwarzenegger getting ready to pump Robert F. Kennedy Jr. up?
On Thursday, May 14, the United States secretary of health and human services, 72, shared a gym selfie to X with none other than the former governor of California, 78.
“Senior’s Day, Gold’s Gym in Venice,” RFK Jr. simply captioned the post, as the two smiled for the camera.
It’s no surprise the Terminator star and former professional bodybuilder was in his longtime favorite gym. Even as he approaches 80 years old, Schwarzenegger seems to still regularly get a workout in.

In March, the former Mr. Universe champion joined son Joseph Baena in the gym ahead of his 28-year-old son’s first bodybuilding show, and their hard work paid off.
Baena scored major wins at his recent bodybuilding competitions, and he said on Instagram that he was “grateful for all the people in my corner supporting and cheering me on.”
As for RFK Jr. — whose cousin Maria Shriver was previously married to Schwarzenegger from 1986 to 2021 — the politician made headlines a few months back when he shared a viral video of himself working out (in jeans!) alongside Kid Rock.

Though his choice to wear denim instead of sweats was questioned by many, RFK Jr. explained that he saw no problem with the workout attire.
“I would go hiking with my dogs in the morning, and then I would go straight to the gym in my jeans, and you know it was just a convenience to work out,” the environmental lawyer said on the March 23 episode of The Bossticks podcast. “And then when I was campaigning, a couple of people took pictures of me in the gym wearing jeans, and then I don’t know, then I just got in too deep.”
During the episode, host Lauryn Bosstick also asked RFK Jr. about the wellness practices he does with his wife, Cheryl Hines, to which he responded, “We couldn’t be more different, which I think is one of the reasons we get along.”
RFK Jr. said the Curb Your Enthusiasm alum, 60, does yoga and pilates and is “basically a vegetarian, kind of a pescatarian,” so they “cook different meals.”
