Viewers who tuned into President Donald Trump’s highly anticipated UFC Freedom 250 event at the White House on Sunday, June 14, expected to see one person, and that was Kid Rock.

Given Kid Rock’s strong support for Trump, who turned 80 on Sunday, many assumed that the 55-year-old country music star would have had a bigger role in UFC Freedom 250 than just being a guest. Some even suspected that the POTUS would have asked the Redneck Paradise crooner to sing the national anthem but instead Zac Brown Band took up the mantle, sparking much speculation about where the president and Kid Rock stand.

“Kid Rock must really be on the MAGA s–t list to get passed over for Zac Brown. #UFCWhiteHouse,” one wrote on X. Another joked, “Lmao they leave Kid Rock for streetz.” A third simply asked, “Did Kid Rock not get invited?”

Amid online theorizing that Kid Rock skipped out on the event, it was later confirmed by TMZ footage that he did indeed attend the event – and he had a bunch of praise for the huge spectactle too. It came after Kid Rock’s Memorial Day message backfired.

Rock boldly told the reporter that it was the “number one” sporting event.

Several commented under the Kid Rock clip after it reached X slamming his opinion of the Trump-backed event, which he attended with his son, Robert James Ritchie, Jr., 33.

“We just had an incredibly exciting NBA finals, and this dips–t says this? Apparently, he’s never been to a sporting event before…” one wrote on X as another shared, “Kid Rock hasn’t been relevant in 20 years.”

One other mocked, “Kid Rock places UFC Freedom 250 at the top; apparently, brawls now officially outrank baseball as national favorite pastime.”

Meanwhile, someone else shared, “It is a unique venue, but not better or more significant than the 1932 Olympics, for instance.”

Trump invited many A-listers to the UFC shindig, including actor-comedian Adam Sandler, ex-NFL star Tom Brady, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, Jared Leto, and many more, but it’s reported that most stars snubbed on the invite.

WWE wrestlers Paul Michael Levesque ‘Triple H’ and Roman Reigns, real name Leati Joseph Anoai, were spotted in the crowd, however.

The whole Trump family were in attendance too, including Donald Trump Jr. and his new Bettina Anderson, rarely-seen Barron Trump, Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner, Tiffany Trump and Lara and Eric Trump.
